CNN —Former President Donald Trump has agreed to a $200,000 bond and other release conditions after his lawyers met with the Fulton County District Attorney’s office on Monday, according to court documents reviewed by CNN. According to a new court filing on Monday, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has reached a bond agreement with one of Trump’s co-defendants: conservative attorney John Eastman. Eastman’s $100,000 bond order is the first to appear on the Fulton County court website. Law enforcement presence remains at an elevated level at the Fulton County court complex. CNN —The special counsel investigation into Donald Trump secured a search warrant of the former president’s Twitter account, @realDonaldTrump, according to a newly unsealed court filing. The search was so secret that Twitter was initially barred from telling Trump the search warrant had been obtained for his account, and the company, now known as “X,” was fined $350,000 because it delayed producing the records sought under the search warrant. The search warrant special counsel Jack Smith obtained sought “data and records related” to Trump’s account, and ultimately, the platform was allowed to share some information about the search warrant with the former president. It said that Smith’s office had “difficulties” when it first attempted to serve Twitter with the search warrant and nondisclosure order. The next week, however, prosecutors contacted Twitter’s lawyer to check on the status of their compliance with the search warrant.

Washington CNN —The special counsel’s office is continuing to investigate around Donald Trump’s handling of documents after his presidency ended, multiple sources tell CNN. That includes continued grand jury activity in Florida and inquiries of witnesses, though it is not yet clear what aspects of the investigation the prosecutors are still pushing toward. Trump has pleaded not guilty, and Nauta is expected to enter a plea of not guilty next week. The two men are expected to head to trial as early as this year. A spokesman for the special counsel’s office declined to comment on Thursday.
